  • How far should my septic system be from my water well system?

In most states, the requirement is a minimum of 50 feet away from your well system. Keep in mind, our local requirements may differ. For more information or to get started with our well drilling services, give us a call today!

  • Why is my well pump losing pressure?

There may be a leak somewhere in the water system pump and pressure tank, through the pipe, at the end of the pipe in the foot valve that lets water out, or air into the system. This will cause a loss of pump and water pressure. Call us today and we can take a look. We also offer free estimates for our well drilling services.

  • How can I tell if my well pump is going bad?

The following are common indicators of a faulty well pump and pressure tank:

    - Strange noises or fast clicking sounds coming from the tank

    - Fluctuations in water pressure

    - Sputtering faucets

    - Scalding water from the shower

    - Increase in electric bills

Give us a call if you are experiencing any of these issues. We also offer water well drilling services!

  • How much will it cost to replace my well pump?

The cost of well pump replacement varies based on the materials used, well size, and installation required. Contact G & R Westbrook Well Drilling Inc for a free estimate today.

  • How long do geothermal heat pumps last?

Geothermal pumps typically last 20-25 years which is much longer than conventional equipment.

For more information about geothermal heat pumps for water well drilling, give us a call today.

  • How deep do geothermal pipes need to be?

Geothermal pipes require trenches to be at least four feet deep. The most common layouts use two pipes, one buried at six feet, and one at four feet, or two pipes laid side-by-side at five feet in the ground. According to Usgs.gov, wells can be drilled more than 1,000 feet deep.

Call us today to install geothermal pipes and for well drilling.

  • Can I use geothermal for hot water?

A desuperheater can be added to a geothermal heat pump system for hot water. A desuperheater is a small secondary heat exchanger device that transfers heat and is a crucial component used in thermal management, providing effective and continuous heat transfer between gas and water.
